I´m back.

After a few days without time to write, here I am. Yesterday was special. Miranda, my good friend from the old times at the University of Rochester was in Madrid for a few hours. It was good to see her again, and have a few laughs. It was almost 4 years since the last time she was here, but after a moment, it felt like it had been just a few weeks. I guess that´s called friendship.

I like to find things that remind me of how fragile and minuscule we all are, how small our achievements and how unjustified our egos. We all think we understand how large the universe is, but we really can not grasp it. We tend to think of our Earth as big and the Sun as huge, but the following should put also this in perspective: Canis Majoris.
